Studio Etiquette
- ALL shoes must be removed before entering the studio and must not be put back on until you are by the door to leave.
- ALL bags, shoes, coats, etc must be put away in the cloakroom in the toilet.
- Please make sure that you have something to wear on your feet for your class, socks or pilates shoes.
- Turn your mobile phones off or to silent if you are in a group class – it doesn’t matter so much if you are having a 121 but please check with your teacher before abandoning an exercise in order to answer a call. This is for safety reasons only.
- 24 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment with either your teacher or therapist otherwise they will be either counted as one of your course or will charged at the full rate. Please do not embarrass your teacher or therapist by making them have to enforce this rule by asking, please offer. (It is at the individual teachers’ or therapists’ discretion if they choose to waive this rule under exceptional circumstances)
- All fees must be paid in advance on either week 6 of your mat course or lesson 6 your 121’s. You will not be allowed to make a booking unless you have paid.
- All mat courses must be paid for in full regardless of any time you may be expecting to have off during that course. If you are willing to give up your space then so be it, but if you would like to keep it, full fees always thank-you from now on.
- Anyone who would like to join classes must have a 121 regardless of experience.
- You will not be allowed to participate in any activity in the studio including treatments if you have been drinking or are under the influence of drugs. Again, please do not embarrass your teacher or therapist by putting them in a position where they have to enforce this rule.
- No chewing gum please it is a safety risk.
- Please inform your teacher asap if you are unable to make your class.
- If for some reason (to change a booking, inform you of illness) you are called by a member of staff from their home number please do not respond by calling them back at home. It is important that work and home life remain separate. All staff members have mobile phones which they usually use for business and their numbers can be found on the website.
- If you are early for your lesson/class please wait out in the kitchen area and be as quiet as possible in case there are treatments underway.
Please treat the staff with courtesy and respect.Thank-you.
