Fitness Inspired Teacher TrainingMarie-Claire Pilates studio now offers Pilates Teacher Training courses for people wanting to work and develop within the fitness industry. Marie-Claire  tutors the new Foundation Certificate in teaching Mat-Based PIlates and CYQ Level 3 Pilates course. Pilates

Pilates

Pilates is the proven body conditioning exercise devised by Joseph Pilates over 70 years ago. Pilates exercises are safe and effective, working on improving tone and alignment of the body by targeting the key postural muscles.

Yoga

Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a fun and relaxing form of yoga, which will also ensure you a good workout.  It comprises of a gentle warm up, sun salutations, strengthening postures, twisting postures and balancing poses which detoxify the body and stengthen the core.  The end of class includes stretching and meditation for relaxation.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi uses controlled breathing techniques that stretch the body, clear the mind and improve body awareness.
The slow graceful movements have helped many people improve balance, co-ordination and posture.  Many doctors and physiotherapists are now recognising the benefits of Tai Chi as part of rehabilitation after injury and major operations.

Classes start with 15 minutes of Qigong (breathing exercises and warm up) followed by 45 minutes of the Tai Chi routines.
